Education
In 2015, Dr. Decuypere graduated with great distinction in medicine from Ghent University. She then specialized in plastic, aesthetic, and reconstructive surgery. She completed her basic training in general surgery at AZ Maria Middelares. Subsequently, she underwent a 4-year training at UZ Gent, in the internationally renowned department of plastic surgery under the guidance of, among others, Prof. Dr. S. Monstrey, Prof. Dr. Ph. Blondeel, Prof. Dr. K. Van Landuyt, Prof. Dr. N. Roche, and Prof. Dr. H. Vermeersch.
After her recognition as a plastic surgeon in 2021, she further specialized in aesthetic surgery during an international fellowship at the Kuzbari Clinic in Vienna. There, she focused on facial aesthetics, breast surgery, and body contouring, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. R. Kuzbari.
Additionally, she is a fellow at the Collegium Chirurgicum Plasticum (CCP) and a member of the Royal Belgian Society for Plastic, Aesthetic, and Reconstructive Surgery (RBSPS).
